Photos are really weird things. I got a big, heavy book on famous photos from my cooler auntie for Christmas (which thankfully made up for the excess of soap and candles that comes my way every year, yes I’m looking at you Aunt Sheryl).
Looking over some of these images I start to get suspicious…How is it that photos manage to make the everyday, normal aspects of human culture...

Congrats to Arts Mitten’s own poetry slammers Jennie and Bron who battled it out live in the studio over the theme “bad taste”. And a shout out to Finn and the attitude he brought with his bongo beats.
Here is one of my absolute fave spoken word pieces by the incredible Bridget Gray. This song gives me chills!! And of course, the desire to bash out some bangin’ bongo...
